Defiant Metal Fabrication

The Client

Defiant Metal Fabrication is a local Colorado business that specializes in creating custom wrought iron and aluminum fencing, electric/solar powered driveway entry gates, hand railings, window well covers, and other custom fabrication services to customers in the Watkins, Bennet, and greater Denver areas.

The Problem

Marketing for the new business began with the name Defiant Metal Fabrication but the owner wanted something that communicated his own unique and unconventional projects through the branding and related collateral. Aside from those requirements the logo design was mostly open-ended creatively.

The Solution

I designed a recognizable text logo utilizing a bold display font along with a scratched-in letter “A” communicating the unconventional and individualistic nature of the company. The logo accomplished an edgy yet professional look that is showcased on employee sweatshirts, hats, company vehicles, and equipment. Future projects will include custom stationary, business cards, and a website that I will help provide.
